  • How long does it take to get my Ventrilo server?

    Your Ventrilo Server will be setup instantly and an email will be dispatched to your containing connection, billing and control panel information.

  • How do I determine the best Ventrilo location for us?

    We recommend you choose a location that is centrally located to the majority of your users. Don’t worry if the initial location you choose does not meet your needs, inside our control panel we offer a way for you to move locations.

  • What Ventrilo sound codecs do you offer?

    We offer all available sound codecs free of charge! Some Ventrilo hosting providers do charge hidden fees or upgrade costs at codecs for the same codecs we offer free.

  • Are your Ventrilo servers Mac compatible?

    They sure are. We do not limit the codecs on your Ventrilo Server. The codec you are referring to is the SPEEX codec and can be changed inside your Control Panel on the configuration page.

  • Where can I find how-to guides for my Ventrilo Server?

  • Where can I download the latest Ventrilo Client?

    You can find patch notes and download locations by visiting Download Ventrilo.

  • What is the difference between Guest Message of the Day and Message of the Day?

    The GMotD will be displayed to anyone that connects to your Ventrilo server that does not have a username and password setup for their account. The MotD will be displayed to anyone that does connect to the Ventrilo Server with a unique username and password. The MotD is a great way to communicate private information to your community members that would not be available to the public.

  • Why do people see a yellow speaker when I talk?

    This usually indicates that your user account does not have the right to "Receive Broad Streams" or do not have permission to speak in the channel you are in. This can be changed in Network Tab inside the Ventrilo Clients user editor. Another possibility is the user’s microphone is either muted at the bottom of the Ventrilo client or their microphone is physically muted.

  • Why can’t I talk on Ventrilo when I am inside my game?

    This is a very easy fix. Please close your game and your Ventrilo client. On your desktop there should be a Ventrilo client, right click the icon and select "Run as Administrator." Now you should be able to talk on Ventrilo while your game is open.

  • What billing methods do you offer?

  • What is Guild Deposit?

    Guild deposit is another great billing feature we have introduced on our network. You can simply hand out a link to your community to accept donations directly into your UGT account with us. These funds can be used for future invoices and even upgrades and downgrades.

  • How do I upgrade or downgrade my Ventrilo Server?

    To change the number of slots on your server, log into the online Control Panel and click the Manage Server page that can be found in the My Account section. On this page click the upgrade or downgrade button to take the appropriate action. You will then be presented with a payment page with the appropriate unused time credit allowing you to make a payment for the difference. Once you have remit payment your server will restart with the new slot count and your new billing date will be displayed on the Manage Servers page.

  • How do I cancel my Ventrilo Server?

    To cancel your service hosted with us, log into the online Control Panel and click the Manage Servers link found in the My Account section. Once on this page click the Cancel button below the service you would like to cancel. The page will then refresh with the date that your server will be shut down. Remember if you change your mind you can always come back and renew this server.

  • How do I renew my Ventrilo Server?

    In order to Renew your service with us you must log into our online Control Panel and click on the Manage Servers link found in the My Account section. Locate and press the Renew button beneath the service you would like to reactivate and you will be brought to a payment page. Once we have received a payment, your service will be reactivated and the new renewal date can be found on the Manage Servers page.

  • Can I stop my automatic payments or Paypal.com subscription?

    Yes you can. This can be done by logging into the online Control Panel and click the Manage Servers link found in the My Account section. Once on this page click the Cancel button below the service that you would like to turn off the auto billing. Now that you have turned off the auto billing option off you will receive an invoice reminder when have your account is due. The invoice can be paid by pressing the Renew button on the same Manage Servers page.

  • If I am not satisfied with your service, can I get a refund?

    Yes you can. We have a 30 day no hassle money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our service level or customer service, simply log into the Control Panel and submit a ticket and request a refund. Please note that once a refund request is processed you will no longer be able to use the service.

  • I lost my Control Panel username and password. Where can I recover it?

    If at any time you forget your Control Panel username or password, simply visit the Control Panel login page and click the forgot password link below the login box. This will generate a new password and email it to the email address we have on file.

  • How do I change my Ventrilo Administrator password?

    Your Ventrilo Server passwords can be changed by visiting the Configuration Page inside the online Control Panel. Once you log into the Control Panel, go to the Edit Configuration page and change the Administrator password in the very first box. Once you have changed your password be sure to click the Save button located at the bottom of this section. You will then be prompted to restart the server by clicking "Apply Changes".

  • Can I create and edit channels from the online Control Panel?

    You sure can. We have created an easy to use channel editor inside our online Control Panel. Once you are logged in, click on the "Edit Channels" link to get to the existing channels list for your server. If this is your first channel, click the "Add Channel" link at the top of the box and enter a channel name into the box provided. Once you have entered a channel name, click the Save icon. You can repeat this step to continue to add additional channels. To add a sub-channel or edit a channel, but a check mark in the box to the left and then click the appropriate option at the top. Once you have created all of your channels and created the structure you want, click the Apply button in the dialogue box provide to commit the changes and to restart your server.
